iRobot Roomba s9+
This robot is one of iRobot's premium models and it certainly performs well. It maneuvers easily across a variety of surfaces and is extremely efficient in collecting dust, dirt, and debris. It's also well-built, and it looks great too.
The S9 is the latest iRobot premium S Series robot vacuum. It has a few additional features that make it different from other models. For example, the iRobot app uses the camera in this unit to create a map of your house, which helps it navigate and clean efficiently.
It can also automatically return to the location where it left off when its battery gets depleted during a cleaning session, so you don't have to waste time re-cleaning the same areas. You can manually start and stop cleaning using a voice command, or by using the iRobot App. This smart vacuum can also clean in darkness!
Another feature that is great is Carpet Boost, which gives the S9 an extra suction force when it encounters carpeting so it can suck up even more dirt and dust. The S9 has an elongated front design, which allows it to be closer to walls and corners than the older round designs. This model is not compatible well with high-pile or shag carpeting.
During our tests, we observed that the iRobot S9+ cleaned thoroughly and efficiently a variety floor surfaces including medium and hard carpets. It also performed well on vinyl flooring, and laminate floors. It did a good job of maneuvering around furniture and objects, however it did have some issues with stairs, where it could crash into bookcases.
We loved the fact that the S9 automatically returns to its base to empty its dust bin once it's full, which greatly reduces hands-on maintenance needs. The dust bag should last for about 30 loads or a month and a half. It's recommended to replace the filter periodically (as suggested by iRobot). Our experience suggests that the iRobot S9+ doesn't get very loud during operation and is a great choice for people who live with pets or children.

Many other robots have similar mapping and scanning functions, but Eufy's application is more refined and intuitive than the other.
The X8 Hybrid has a great feature: you can control the mop or vacuum through voice thanks to the integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This is a great feature that makes the robot hands-free. It was very effective in our test house.
Like other robotic vacuums, the X8 Hybrid has some issues with bare floors. It may be unable to see pet hair or small objects, and is more likely to get into things, like its own charger that sits on its charging base. It's not as quiet as other models we've tested, and the whirring sound can be distracting.
Roborock V3S pro
This robot isn't as feature-rich as some of the more expensive models we evaluated, but it has all the basics. It has a large dust bin that can hold a lot of dirt prior to needing to be cleaned. We were able watch TV while it cleaned without feeling as though we were being constantly bombarded by the sound.
Our testers loved how easy it was to install and use, and they were impressed with its ability to get all the mess off their floors. It also did a excellent job of removing pet hair and messes from carpeting, though it was not as effective in removing stubborn stains. The app was easy to use and intuitive. It was able to set up the vacuum to clean regularly to minimize the amount of manual work. The only downside is that it does not have any mapping technology or object avoidance technology, so you can't direct it to specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundary strips can be used).
The V3S Pro is another model that is part of iRobot's affordable line. It offers some impressive features at an affordable price. It topped all other robot vacuums we tested when it comes to finding and avoiding obstacles and is the ideal budget option for those who want a cleaner self-emptying robotic vacuum that can handle pet hair and messes on carpets with low pile and hardwood floors. It's also extremely quiet and comes with a massive dust bin that can hold lots of debris before it needs emptying and you check here don't have to worry about regularly emptying it.
Although the V3S Pro didn't earn a place in any of our top choices compilations from reliable sources that conduct hands-on tests, it got high marks from reviewers from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. They were impressed with the ease of set up and use, but they also noted that its battery life is limited and it wasn't able to stay clear of some of the toughest problems we've encountered.

The Q Revo is a solid basic robot vacuum and mop that isn't slack on features or price. You can get many of the top features, like smart navigation and mapping, without paying top dollar. You can even use voice commands using Alexa, Google Assistant, or Apple Siri shortcuts to create custom automations and start your cleaning cycle from anywhere while you're away.
Roborock took its time in designing this smart cleaner. The result is that the product is exceptionally sturdy and feels as if it was made with premium materials. The base is sturdy and robust with the charging port built into the battery. There's a docking station for the clean-water tank as well as the bins for dirty water on top. When you connect your device to the app, you'll see an interactive map of your home. It will show where your robot is currently located and what area it's cleaning. You can also create virtual barriers to keep your robot from certain areas or clean only certain kinds of flooring. It's also able to adjust its power settings depending on the kind of floor being cleaned, and choosing the most efficient method of cleaning.
The Q Revo is unique to many other robot vacuums due to the fact that it can raise both mop heads while vacuuming. This helps to prevent carpet fibers from getting stained. In fact, it's the few vacuums on market that can do this.
When it comes to mopping the Q Revo's 5500Pa suction capabilities can be enough to take out specks of dust or pet hair strands and other debris. The all-rubber brush is able to break up animal and human hair, as it adjusts to uneven surfaces.
The only issue with this machine is that it takes some time to fill and empty both the dirty and clean tanks.
